We hired Jen and The Men to play at our wedding last fall (Nov. 8th, 2014) and we really couldn't be happier with the service that they provided. From our initial meeting with the band's manager, Brian, until the very end, they were such a pleasure to work with. They were honest, genuine and always there to respond to any questions that we had as we were going through our preparations. Unlike a lot of other bands that we saw perform, Jen and The Men band has amazing chemistry and with Jen's strong vocals they really know how to put on a show. They are one of the few bands that has a very diverse repertoire, which ensures that all guests are happy with the song choices. Everyone at our wedding loved them and even months after our event, we are still receiving great feedback. We would be happy to recommend them to anyone! We came across Jen and the Men while searching through hundreds of bands listed on the various wedding sites for the Greater Toronto Area. Brain (the band manager) was very quick to respond to our query and gave us plenty of information and links to videos and audio clips for us to get an idea of what we could expect from the band. That was just the beginning. While we discussed our needs for the night, Brian was very helpful in ensuring we had a complete entertainment package (DJ, lights, Band) and worked with us to customize the set-list for our multi-ethnic wedding. We were even invited to a public concert by the band a few weeks before the wedding and given back-stage access to meet everyone in person. As for the big day, Jenny James and the entire crew were nothing short of fantastic. Right from the start they pulled the crowd on to the dance floor and managed to keep them there the entire night with the high-energy covers, classic ballads and some really fun originals. ***We had the honour of having Jen and the men played at our daughters wedding on August 9th 2014. I must say... 2 months later and we are still getting great feedback from friends and family on how amazing they are, amazing singer Jenn is and what a show they put on. They are amazing band. Jenn and her husband Brian are amazing people. I was blest to have met them. True, honest and genuine people. We highly recommond them. Miss you guys and hope to come out to one of your shows. ***Jen and the Men performed at our wedding on November 27, 2010. After reviewing several bands to perform at our wedding, No other band stood out like Jen and the Men. Their energy and professionalism is what struck me most. They were there for us providing advice and assistance every step of the way. Any request we had from lighting to the use of their sound system for our programs, were granted without any hesitation. They went out of their way to make our wedding a success.Besides their professional and helpfulness, the band's performance at our wedding was absolutely incredible. The band was tight as if they have been playing together for years, and Jen's energy and vocal range is beyond compare. Right from the very first song people started to dance, and the dance floor was full, until the very end. Even people that don't normally dance was tearing up the dance floor.
One of our guests made the comment that they haven't been to a wedding, where at midnight, the dance floor was packed and people were still dancing and having fun. He said usually at that time, most people have gone home. To be honest most of our guests stayed right till the end, and everyone commented on how fun and enjoyable our wedding was. Everyone just loved Jen and the Men and they didn't want the night to end.
Thank you Jen and the Men for making our wedding day special. I know Amy and I will remember this day for the rest of our lives. and from the comments we received from our guests they had an unforgetable time. Thanks to you guys, everyone had an incredible night.
